The following work sought to determined the main structural trends in the southern central region of the state of Espírito Santo, near the Shear Zone Guaçuí (ZCGu) which presentes a major NNE-SSW trend. The lineaments were originally extract from colored composition images with bands 5, 3 and 2 of the Landsat 8 and four shaded relief images that were generated from SRTM with lighting azimuth. Directional and densification maps were manufactured from the extraction of linear features regarding to ridges and valleys, this way, the analysis sought to determine the most expressive structural control of the area, which were the most importante countenance and where are located the largest strucutral densifications. The methodology was presented by the following steps: image aquisition fom Landsat 8 and SRTM; choosing and trimming the image of the study área; digital processing and generation of each image used; lineaments extractions; grouping of vectors and exploratory analysis; lineament classification by azimuths and density analysis; manufacture of directional and densification maps. The results showed that the área is strongly structurally controlled by NE-SW trend, mainly reguarding the ZCGu and it structural damaged zone, previously described in the literature, and by the NW-SE trend being the most ocurrent, mainly valleys, having its main features the Piúma Lineament, which makes it possible for a new field of studies that will explain the great expressiness of the NW-SE trend.
